hello, ujiie here. the new kronos! what do you think? it does sound good! especially the piano sound i was just using here, the berlin grand piano. this is a fantastic sound that's been added to the new kronos. such a good sound! it's so good, it's better than fantastic!

and have a look at this! you can control this via the touch panel! and another new feature is the string resonance setting. ok let's do this. you can see which strings are resonating while you play. wow! and there are 12 different velocity levels it switches between. it's very smooth. and here, una corda, you can set the pedal to a soft setting. yeah, nice! you hear it?

this piano is great! this sound, and this rhc keyboard are a match made in heaven! really, really nice! ok, at the start of the demo, i played along to a drum track. yeah, it really sounds great! awesome! ah, by the way, since we are talking about the kronos, here at musictrack jp, we've done about 4 kronos videos. so, if you're curious about the basic functions of the kronos,

how many sounds it has, what kind of synth engines are in it, and so on, please check those videos. today, though, i'd like to show you the new kronos, and its new & improved features. that's today's focus. like this berlin grand piano here, which is just phenomenal, and a just-for-this-kronos sound, ok? awesome. now, another very interesting feature here, is what i'll talk about next.

now, of course, there's an almost innumerable amount of sounds here. but this time, this thing... look at the screen, i've put a few in my favorites folder already. the names themselves are just super! what's this? saturday in the park? saturday in the park, well, that's this... this!! you know? american song, with the horns? the band with the horn section. or this, don't stop believing! this is, well, this!

oops, i got a bit prog-rock there for a sec. ok here we go. well, ok. this is also by an american band... let it be piano. c'mon!? you know! what else but this? it's the same! amazing. well, i guess it depends how well you play. imagine piano. "imagine" eh? must be none other than that person. oh this is really...

this sound is too beautiful! it's the same sound as on the record! that sound! lady madonna piano. that has to be this one... this one, right? a four-man band from the uk. i'm not in love. this is that band, how many cc's was it? oh and this one too...

oh that's such a fantastically good sound! superstition. superstition... (explains meaning in japanese) a clavinet. this!!! you know him, he moves side to side like this. a man of color, right? on to organ sounds. these are great too! a whiter shade of organ. this has gotta be that, uh,

blue shadow, right? this is that sound. great! uhhh, this! karn evil #9. this one too... this. a three-man prog-rock organ band. this is really awesome! strings next.

village ghetto strings. this captures that guy, the one i like, so well. that. is. it!! eleanor rigby strings. this one too, 4-man outfit from the uk. this kind of thing. super famous song! papa don't preach. this one is that, uh, you know, female artist. a rather flamboyant female artist... this! the strings they used in the intro.

this thing. these sounds are almost scary!!! brass up next. this is fun! ah, this one is very well done! sledgehammer brass. sledgehammer. so, this sound... this. right? it's the same sound! sir duke brass. sir duke, so that must mean... this guy again.

this is the same sound as used on that recording! woodwinds. this one, sledgehammer shakuhachi. this!!! same! from the intro. that one. great! let's go on to bass. and the bass sounds? yep. this. kyrie, that one, uhhhh...

a west-coast band, this. mister, uh, mister mister mister mister thingy. ohh, this, it's , i mean it's even split right and left, different sounds. chameleon bass, so that's... this, right? thriller bass. thriller bass? gotta be mj. a phrase like that. very famous! birdland...

bass. (bird island) this too... exact same sound! next... this one, 1984. slow strings. that four member hard-rock band... the intro to their super famous album? this. while we're on sounds like that, how about this? that song, with that famous intro!

very well done! africa. the touch response gives you that sound here! final countdown. final countdown? must be this... and we are in that world! this is so good! 1999. uh 1999, that would be that one, uh, the "young aristocrat" ok? yeah, this. well, what can i say? sounds great!

sepa... separate ways. another band from the usa, right? a hard-rock band. this. this! that intro sound, this is it! the same! next, leads. rockit lead. rockit lead, that's that one, the jazz player who did a kinda hip-hop thing? this. this kind of thing, right?

awesome. with the robot dance thing? new song. new song, now, with this one, here watch this. this! this is great. with the drums and all? fly like an eagle. yeah, this one. a really famous american artist. the way the delay sorta takes flight there? nails it. next, on the run.

(b2). that's this key. none other than that song! uk prog-rock. super famous band! oh that there! hear that? it changes the same exact way!!! they really did a great job with this! sweet dreams.

(c3). that's this key. ah, it does all this with one key! this is too awesome! save a prayer. (d3). ah! this! this is those guys! pop band from the uk. that's it! they've done a great job here!

(g4). this is another good one! this is that 3-man band. when you flip from the a side to the b side. i think today's kids don't understand what that means. you got this kinda thing when you flipped from side a to side b... well done indeed. sound effects next. sound effects... close to the edge.

close to the edge? that's gotta be... uh... very famous uk prog-rock band. 3 letters. ah! this is the intro sound! move the joystick around and... what about the ribbon? ahhh. ah that's exactly the same! exactly!!! and here's the last one. beat it. the hit! beat it is this...

with the drums, that is spot on! isn't this fun? and these are just a fraction of the sounds! sounds named after the songs they appear in, there are loads of 'em, and this is so much fun! great. and what's more, they're all kronos quality! i mean... this is great! so good for stirring the imagination! these sounds, they're timeless! immortal even!

great!!! but if you go one step further, there's the set list. and my set list here, i've assembled a bunch of sounds i'd never heard before. until now, they were all one color, but now you can color code them.what a good idea! so, first, i have these pink-ish colored ones. these are piano sounds. pastel blue, electric piano sounds. kronos...

it won't cut off currently playing sounds when you change presets. organ sounds are brown. virtual analog sounds are... ...blue. wave machine, yellow. well, that's the new kronos. it's pretty awesome! highly recommended! the new kronos!
